Step into your rhythm and own your zone with dynamic Zydeco workshops led by Moriah. Whether you're heading to a rustic dance hall or a packed festival, these exclusive dance classes are designed to build confidence, sharpen your moves, and connect you with a supportive dance community.

  • Monday Nights (three-weekend commitment)

  • Three Separate Workshops (completed in order)

  • Small Group Setting | $150 / Person / Workshop

  • No Walk-Ins (registration required)

  • Mandatory Attendance (make-up sessions at an additional cost)

  • Held at West Line Event Center

  • Come Solo, Grab a Partner, or Round Up the Crew

Step 1: Beginner Zydeco Workshop

  • What to expect:

    • Learn core steps and partner positioning (15 mins)

    • Add smooth transitions (30 mins)

    • Put it all together for a full recap and review (15 mins)

    Week 1: Zydeco Two Step

    Week 2: Zydeco Stomp

    Week 3: Zydeco Rock

Step 2: Intermediate Zydeco Workshop

  • What to expect:

    • Review core steps and partner positioning (15 mins)

    • Integrate dance styles and add new moves (30 mins)

    • Put it all together for a full recap and review (15 mins)

    Week 1: Zydeco Two Step | Agitator / Open Agitator

    Week 2: Zydeco Stomp | Strut / Dip

    Week 3: Zydeco Rock | Right Solo Turn / Left Solo Turn

Step 3: Advanced Zydeco Workshop

  • What to expect:

    • Learn core steps and partner positioning (15 mins)

    • Add smooth transitions and new moves (30 mins)

    • Put it all together for a full recap and review (15 mins)

    Week 1: Zydeco Sway | Level Turn / High Turn

    Week 2: Zydeco Slide | Crossover / Partner Showcase

Louisiana Dance Nites

Join Moriah and friends for a night of learning to dance the Louisiana way. These fun, friendly classes help people of all skill levels learn the basics of Cajun, Zydeco, and other popular Louisiana dance styles, all while creating wonderful memories in an encouraging environment.

  • Thursday Nights | 6:00-7:30pm

  • $25 / Person (in advance) | $30 / Person (at door)

  • All Skill Levels Welcome

  • Held at West Line Event Center
